learning modern greek

  • There is currently a greek course running. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued...

  • The intro questions have changed a bit.

  • You may introduce yourself to the community as these people already have.

This community is open for all, mostly for those with an interest in greek language and learning it. There will be (hopefully) frequent updates with lessons. Feel free to participate. Feel free to post lessons of your own or links to lessons online.

Other than that, this is a place where you can post questions about the greek language, or if you need any help with greek translations or your greek homework. I'm sure there will be plenty of people able and eager to offer help.

You can start by introducing yourself, if you like, by telling us:

Name / Age / Location:
Are you a native speaker or a student of the greek language?
If a student, why have you decided to learn greek? How long have you been learning greek?
Would you be interested in having (or being) a greek penfriend?
Which methods of learning are most effective for you? (listening / reading (optical method) / writing practice)
Comment on the community's content. Do you find it helpful? (also check this post.)
etc. (anything else you might want to add)

Thank you all and I hope everyone is having a nice time and is learning something new with every post.
